I have found out in the last few days that you need to use two coats to give a non streaky finish when using red hoap this helps some

that may may oh bearded one but i personally can say that the new foundation paints from the citadel range at warhammer do perfectly give a glossy red finish- IN ONE COAT fantastic stuff

Heard good things about these new GW paints.
Personally I use a mix of GW and Foundry paints.

I believe Miss Devotte ment to say they give a perfect matt finish with one coat, not gloss and they are indeed a revalation to painting.

I got to say they are good paints but you do still need 2 coats of red to give it a good solid coat when you paint over a black undercoat
the other thing is to keep rinsing your brush out frequently as the paint dries very quickly and clogs the brush up

no its glossy cos it went all shiny... remember the cauldren of blood --- oh wait yeah matt cos i used varnish.... never mind
